Z głębokim smutkiem zawiadamiamy, że 28 stycznia 2012 r. zmarł dr med. Wojciech
Medvey, wybitny specjalista w dziedzinie ginekologii onkologicznej, długoletni kierownik
Kliniki Ginekologii Onkologicznej, należący do grona założycieli krakowskiego Oddziału
Centrum Onkologii - Instytutu im. M. Skłodowskiej-Curie.
Był uznanym Autorytetem naukowym w dziedzinie ginekologii onkologicznej, wychowawcą
wielu pokoleń młodych kadr w tej tak trudnej dziedzinie onkologii. Wspaniałym Lekarzem,
pełnym wrażliwości Człowiekiem, oddanym w niesieniu pomocy chorym.
W Zmarłym straciliśmy szlachetnego i niezwykle skromnego Kolegę.
