Odznaczony Krzyżem Kawalerskim Orderu Odrodzenia Polski,
Złotym Krzyżem Zasługi, Srebrnym Krzyżem Zasługi
oraz
medalem "Za zasługi położone dla rozwoju Uczelni".

W osobie Pana Dyrektora żegnamy długoletniego, wielce zasłużonego
pracownika Uniwersytetu.

Uroczystości pogrzebowe rozpoczną się 17 grudnia 2004 roku wyprowadzeniem z Kaplicy przy Szpitalu Wojewódzkim na Bielanach o godz. 1100 do Kościoła NMP.
Po mszy pogrzeb na Cmentarzu Św. Jerzego przy ul. Gałczyńskiego .
