Miał 67 lat.

"W moim teatrze, jest miejsce dla królów, pijaków, meneli, świętych. W moim teatrze, ściany słuchają spowiedzi nawiedzonych, odepchniętych, poszarpanych”
– pisał o legnickim teatrze w jednym ze swoich wierszy.

Teatr poniósł wielką stratę. Zabraknie nam Przyjaciela, którego nikt nam nie zastąpi. Widza, który był z nami tysiące razy. Człowieka, który kochał teatr i artystów.
