Mit großer Trauer habe ich die Nachricht vom Tod von Frau Barbara Czopek-Kopciuch erfahren. Wir waren sehr gut bekannt; sie besuchte uns des öfteren in Göttingen und sie war auch bei uns zu Gast. Sie war meine wichtigste Ansprechpartnerin für Fragen der Namenforschung in Polen, wir planten auch gemeinsame Projekte zu den Gewässernamen in Polen. Ich werde sie sehr vermissen.

Se smutkem v srdci se chci rozloučit s paní prof.prof. Czopek-Kopciuch. Udělala hodně pro spolupráci česko-polskou v oblasti standardizace geografických jmen, byla vynikající odbornicí a také milým, srdečným člověkem. RIP
