Zastałem go w doskonałym zdrowiu fizycznym i psychicznym, w doskonałym humorze. Gdy go portretowałem opowiadał mi ciekawą historię swego długiego życia. Był przy tym spokojny, wesoły i uśmiechnięty, jednocześnie pełen zadumy i nostalgii.</span></p><p><span>I nagle dowiaduję się, że go nie ma. Myślałem, że obejrzy swój portret.</span></p><p><span>Pamięć o nim zostanie głęboko w moim sercu, a wspomnienia o nim nigdy się nie zatrą. Zaszczytem było dla mnie poznanie tego człowieka.</span></p><p><span>Jeszcze raz najszczersze wyrazy współczucia. Pokój jego duszy.</span></p>
