Urodzony w 1929 roku w Gdańsku - architekt i rzeźbiarz.
Był honorowym ambasadorem Gdańska,
twórcą Pomnika upamiętniającego Kindertransporty,
autorem książki Zaułkami pamięci.
Gdańsk - Londyn — Jaffa.
Opuścił Gdańsk w 1939 roku, w ostatnim Kindertransporcie.
Pochodził z żydowskiej rodziny,
od trzech wieków osiadłej w Gdańsku.
Jego rodzice zginęli w Auschwitz.
Wielki przyjaciel Polski i Gdańska, orędownik wspólnej polsko-żydowskiej przyszłości.
