W 50. latach była nauczycielką języka rosyjskiego w szkołach średnich w Bydgoszczy, przede wszystkim w Technikum Ekonomicznym.
W 1963 wyjechała do Anglii i tam zmarła w wieku 89 lat. Napisała książkę „Where The Devil Says Goodnight” o swoim zesłaniu na Sybir jako jedenastoletnia dziewczynka. 17 sierpnia 2017 otrzymała Krzyż Zesłańców Sybiru od Prezydenta RP.

Msza św. pogrzebowa odbędzie się w sobotę, 28 października w Sicienku o godz. 13.00. Pogrzeb na cmentarzu w Dąbrowce Nowej.
