były adiunkt w Instytucie Fizyki Doświadczalnej
Wydziału Matematyki, Fizyki i Chemii Uniwersytetu Gdańskiego.
Msza święta żałobna odbędzie się we wtorek, 25 sierpnia 2015 r.,
o godzinie 9.00 w kościele Świętego Wojciecha w Kwidzynie.
Uroczystości pogrzebowe odbędą się o godz. 10.00 na Cmentarzu Komunalnym w Kwidzynie.

Dr Piotr Bałuk uczył mnie fizyki w 2005-2007. Nie był to mój ulubiony przedmiot,​ale Pan Doktor był zawsze sympatyczny i życzliwy. 2-3 lata temu przypadkowo spotkaliśmy się w autobusie i odbyliśmy bardzo miłą rozmowę, to był świetny Człowiek
