długoletni nauczyciel i dyrektor Zespołu Szkół Elektrycznych w Krakowie-Nowej Hucie.
Znany i zasłużony działacz oświatowy i sportowy.
Pełnił funkcję Wiceprezesa MKS „Krakus” Nowa Huta, Członka i Wiceprezesa zarządu BKS „Wanda” Nowa Huta, a następnie Prezesa Wojewódzkiej Komisji PKOl w Krakowie i członka Prezydium Rady Seniorów Małopolskiego Związku Piłki Nożnej.
