Odznaczony Złotym Krzyżem Zasługi, Medalem 85 lecia PZPN i KOZPN oraz Medalem za Zasługi dla TS Wisła Kraków. Członek Honorowy KOZPN i PZPN. Uroczystości pogrzebowe rozpoczną się w dniu 6 listopada 2009 roku o godzinie 13.00 w Kościele w Prokocimiu w Krakowie. Rodzinie Zmarłego składamy wyrazy współczucia. Zarząd Małopolskiego Związku Piłki Nożnej.
