W dniu 19 grudnia 2009 roku zmarła w wieku 95 lat nasza ukochana Siostra i Ciocia Ś. P. Irena Nicman. Kochała Boga, Polskę i nas. Zawsze pełna optymizmu i wiary w przyszłość. Będzie na zawsze w naszych sercach. Siostra i Andrzej z Rodziną. Msza święta żałobna odbędzie się w dniu 29 grudnia 2009 roku o godzinie 11.00 w Bazylice Katedralnej w Kielcach, po której nastąpi złożenie ciała do grobu rodzinnego na Cmentarzu Nowym.

Młodość przeżyła na Kresach. Po 1945 w organizacji WiN. Po ciężkim śledztwie skazana w 1947 r. na 10 lat, więziona w Fordonie przez 8 i pół roku. Rehabilitowa​na w 1994. Związana potem z WSD w Kielcach
