Zawodowo kierowała referatem konsularno-prawnym Konsulatu Generalnego Niemiec we Wrocławiu.
Pełniąc funkcję konsula we Wrocławiu, jak i członka kuratorium GPPLEN
Pani dr Bußmann angażowała się w szczególności na rzecz polsko-niemieckiej współpracy i polsko-niemieckiej wymiany prawniczej.

Składamy hołd Jej wielkiemu zaangażowaniu.
Pozostanie Ona na zawsze w naszej pamięci.
