Odszedł profesor Wiktor Lewandowski. 14 marca odszedł od nas po długiej i ciężkiej chorobie śp. profesor Wiktor Lewandowski -Zasłużony dla Miasta Kowala, niezrównany nauczyciel języka polskiego, wspaniały wychowawca wielu pokoleń młodzieży, współzałożyciel Liceum Ogólnokształcącego w Kowalu, wieloletni dyrektor Liceum im. Marii Konopnickiej we Włocławku, człowiek prawy, szlachetny, wierny wyznawanym zasadom moralnym i religijnym, które miał odwagę głosić, także w czasach, kiedy odwagę taką miało niewielu. Najszczersze kondolencje synowi Pawłowi, całej Rodzinie, wszystkim Przyjaciołom i rzeszom Wychowanków Profesora składają: Burmistrz i Rada Miasta Kowala
