Z wielkim żalem zawiadamiamy, że w dniu 7 sierpnia 2009 roku odszedł od nas niespodziewanie Wielki Przyjaciel Holandii i olenderyzmu w Polsce Pan doktor Walerian Kozłowski organizator i pierwszy prezes Towarzystwa Przyjaźni Polsko-Niderlandzkiej, inicjator pomocy charytatywnej z Holandii w trudnych dla Polaków latach transformacji politycznej, osoba związana blisko ze środowiskiem kombatanckim uczestników zmagań o Niderlandy, w ramach brygad generała Maczka i generała Sosabowskiego. Pogrzeb odbył się w dniu 21 sierpnia 2009 roku na cmentarzu Miłostowo w Poznaniu. Z głębokim żalem w imieniu Konsulatu Królestwa Niderlandów w Poznaniu Andrzej Gawroński Konsul Honorowy
