W rozgłośni regionalnej Polskiego Radia w Bydgoszczy pracował w latach 1961- 1990, pełniąc w latach 1977- 1980 funkcję szefa redakcji dzienników oraz w latach 1973-1977 kierownika redakcji programów telewizyjnych.
Autor setek materiałów radiowych i telewizyjnych emitowanych na antenach regionalnych i ogólnopolskich.
Odznaczony m. in. Krzyżem Kawalerskim Orderu Odrodzenia Polski oraz Honorową Odznaką Komitetu ds. Radia i Telewizji.
Rodzinie i najbliższym składamy wyrazy serdecznego współczucia- koleżanki i koledzy z Polskiego radia "PIK" S.A.
