Uczestnik ruchu oporu AK, w powstaniu warszawskim dziennikarz Polskiej Agencji Telegraficznej. Jeden z organizatorów powojennej prasy na Wybrzeżu - „Ilustrowanego Kuriera Polskiego” i Zachodniej Agencji Prasowej. W latach 1949-1968 kierownik działu gospodarczo-morskiego „Dziennika Bałtyckiego”. Dziennikarz Interpressu, „Wieczoru Wybrzeża” i ponownie „Dziennika Bałtyckiego” (redaktor naczelny 1982).
Żegnamy cenionego publicystę, działacza organizacji dziennikarskich, serdecznego Kolegę.
