Była Człowiekiem wielkiego serca. Posiadała rzadką umiejętność – potrafiła innych zarażać optymizmem i pogodą ducha. Nie potrafiła przejść obojętnie wobec krzywdy i cierpienia dziecka, za co została uhonorowana odznaką „Przyjaciel Dziecka”.
