uczestnik kampanii wrześniowej 1939 r.,
emerytowany nauczyciel II LO im. Dąbrówki w Gnieźnie,
długoletni wychowawca młodzieży,
odznaczony m.in. Krzyżem Kawalerskim, Złotym Krzyżem Zasługi,
Krzyżem Walecznych oraz Oficerskim Krzyżem Orderu Odrodzenia Polski,
przeżył 93 lata.

Pogrzeb rozpocznie się mszą św. w czwartek 27 września 2012 roku o godz. 12.00 na cmentarzu św. Piotra w Gnieźnie.
