Z wielkim żalem zawiadamiamy, że 12 sierpnia 2011 r. zmarł w Londynie śp. ppłk Antoni ANTONIEWICZ lat 96 absolwent rocznika 1935 -1937 Szkoły Podchorążych Kawalerii w Grudziądzu, oficer zawodowy 16. Pułku Ułanów Wielkopolskich, uczestnik kampanii wrześniowej 1939 r., jeniec obozów niemieckich. Był członkiem Rady Fundacji na Rzecz Tradycji Jazdy Polskiej w Grudziądzu. Odznaczony m.in. Krzyżem Walecznych i wieloma innymi odznaczeniami i medalami. Odszedł kawalerzysta, patriota i człowiek wielkiego serca. Żegnamy Pułkownika pogrążeni w smutku. Rada i Zarząd Fundacji na Rzecz Tradycji Jazdy Polskiej w Grudziądzu.
