- Nie było jeszcze takiej wiosny,

jak była ta – w katyńskim lesie!

Zapadłeś w groby, między cienie...

- rycerz Ojczyzny – nasz Zawisza!

Wzleciałeś w Polskę nam. W sumienie!

... A resztę tamten wiatr usłyszał.

Oddałeś serce Jej w potrzebie,

jak Twój poprzednik: Narutowicz.

ODDAŁEŚ JEJ CAŁEGO SIEBIE

i ktoś się kiedyś o tym dowie...

Ten Sztandar polski lud podniesie –

Polska powstanie z tamtej ciszy...

Ty zostań tam: w katyńskim lesie!

Niech tę modlitwę Bóg usłyszy!...
