Prof. dr hab. Anna Stelmaszuk urodziła się w 1946 r.
Pracę w Studium Języków Obcych
rozpoczęła w 1979 r.
jako lektor języka rosyjskiego.
W 1987 r. otrzymała stopień
doktora nauk humanistycznych.
W roku 1993 uzyskała habilitację,
a następnie w 2002 r. tytuł naukowy profesora.

Zainteresowania naukowe prof. Anny Stelmaszuk obejmowały zagadnienia z dziedziny glottodydaktyki, tekstologii, leksykografii i komunikacji interkulturowej.
