Wszystko w życiu ma koleje -
Młodość, szczęście, miłość z wiarą:
Railway'ami są nadzieje,
Próżność nasza - silną parą!

Czymże krótkie nasze życie?
Czymże życie na tej ziemi?
Czymże ono nieodbicie? -
Kolejami żelaznemi!

Z uczuciami, z nadziejami,
Wszystko pędzi w świat co żywo,
Myśli są - pasażerami,
Egoizm - lokomotywą.

Życie pędzi tak jak wagon,
Zdradnej pary się nie lęka,
Aż wtem nagle kociół ciała
Śród kolei świata pęka....
